What this website is
Porto Tours is an independent guide to Porto. We write about tours, river cruises, day trips, places to stay, restaurants, museums and practical planning, and we link to the companies that sell tours, transfers and stays. We are not a tour operator, travel agency or booking platform: we do not sell, arrange or run any tour, transfer or accommodation, and we never take payments.
When you book through a link on this site, your contract is with the partner you book with, such as GetYourGuide, Viator, TourRadar or a booking site reached through Stay22, under that company's terms, prices and cancellation rules.
How far you can rely on the information
We work to keep every page accurate, as set out in our editorial principles. Even so, travel information changes without notice: prices, opening hours, timetables and rules. So:
- Prices are indications from partner catalogues and official price lists at the date given. The price that counts is the one the partner shows at checkout. - Opening hours, ratings and place details are checked at the date shown on each page and can change. Check with the place before a visit that matters. - Weather is based on long-run averages. Before a trip, check the forecast from IPMA. - Maps and distances are approximate and are not a navigation aid. - Ratings and review counts are the ones published by the partners and listing platforms at the date given; they are not our own verdict. - Pictures. Many illustrations on this site were generated or edited with AI from reference photographs, and they may not show the place exactly as it is. Photographs of tours, stays and trips come from the partners that sell them.
