The omakase is the main talking point, along with a cozy atmosphere and the wine selection. Nigiri, fresh wasabi, the chef and the intimate room all come up, and counter seating puts you close to the action. The intimate room and counter make the meal feel personal. Anyone drawn to a cozy, counter-side Japanese dinner will find plenty to like. This is a seated, unhurried meal rather than a quick bite.
Plan for a Tuesday to Saturday evening. Service runs 7:30 to 11:30 PM, and the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday, so lunch is not an option. An early 7:30 arrival leaves the full evening open, while a later seating still needs to finish by 11:30.
