Why go, and how to fit it in
For a filling, inexpensive meal, this steakhouse puts the emphasis on steak and generous plates. Picanha is what visitors talk about most, with francesinha and cod fish close behind, plus grilled cod, dorada and caipirinhas. Dishes come well served, and homemade food is another draw. At €10 to €15 per person, it works for meat lovers, budget-conscious diners and hungry groups.
Monday to Thursday the only service is noon to 3 PM, so midday is the time to go. Friday and Saturday open for lunch from noon to 4 PM and again from 6:30 to 11 PM. Sunday is closed. An evening visit has to fall on a Friday or Saturday, and a Monday to Thursday meal has to be lunch. Plan your visit around those hours.
